Stories of Indian Gods and Heroes: The Pandava Brothers

King Santanu, son of Kuru ruled over Hastinapura

Duryodhana wanted to burn the palace of the Pandavas and kill them 

The Pandavas saw this coming and evaded this attempt of murder

Sunda and Upasunda were two brothers who lived to please each other and were very compatible 

Draupadi was made slave as well as the rest of the Pandavas

However, they were allowed to leave because of Dhritarashtra's pity for Draupadi

Dhritarashtra sent them a new challenge and made a deal that the loser of a dice game would have to go to the forest for thirteen years

Because Drona died, Karna became leader

Bhima tore open his enemy and drank their blood as he said he would

Arjuna then killed Karna by crashing his chariot and spearing him

The five brothers and Draupadi departed from everyone and were mourned and gave funeral rituals to those who had died

 My major is Health and Exercise Science and my favorite thing about it is that my major can lead to so many different jobs and routes. The best class I took last semester was Human Anatomy. This was a very intense course but was very interesting as I got to examine cadavers and see all the body parts that are on and in us. One big accomplishment that I attained last semester was attaining very good grades last semester. Some of my favorite movies include Good Will Hunting, The Big Short, and The Accountant. Some of my favorite TV shows include The Office, Friends, and Dexter. My favorite music by far is classic 80's as my parents have put me on it for a long time. One of my short time goals is to make it into Chiropractic graduate school this fall. One of my long terms goals would be to graduate Chiropractic school and get my doctorate in Chiropractic. Week #3 Story: Ramayana

  Ravana BREAKING NEWS Reporter: This just in, we have inside information from someone who has been overseeing the past events that have lead to a lot of destruction over the years. I have word that we will be able to hear from the god himself, Brahma. Brahma, what started all of this ruckus? Brahma: It all started when a boy called Ravana was born. When he grew up, he petitioned to me to be invincible. I agreed to give him immortal nectar except to humans. Ravana then grew up and met a person named Shiva who he found interest in and became a follower. Ravana had a son with Mandodari and named him Meghanada. This is when things began to get a little unpleasant. Reporter: What happened after Ravana had the new son to make things worse? Brahma: The son made himself invisible in one of his battles and captured Indra, king of the Devas. I ordered him to let the king go in exchange for a granted wish.
