 Reading Notes The Scorpion and the Tortoise  Characters:  The Turtle is a fairly smart character in this story and just wants to make friends The Scorpion is quite cunning and also wants friends but doesn't handle certain situations very well The two become best of friends and make a pact and always be friends and never separate When the two come to their first challenge together, they come up with a solution There is a river between them and their destination but the scorpion cannot swim The turtle offers to carry the scorpion on the back of his shell across the river Halfway across the river, the scorpion tells the turtle he wants to see if his stinger can break his shell The turtle quickly dumps the scorpion and that is the end of their friendship Scorpion and the Turtle

 Review Electric People This graphic caught my eye because it is a really cool design of two people with their hands up and they are both so tall. They really standout in the foggy weather. Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry Piano Song I enjoyed this video because it was very soothing to listen to and I always love seeing old videos of bugs bunny and or tom and jerry because I used to watch those shows all the time.

 Famous Last Words This last week I managed to get some good reading in for this class and I was able to find enough time to do all of it even though this last week was one of my busier weeks. The readings I chose were pretty interesting and I am glad I got to go through and pick the ones I wanted to read. I do really like the story lab option as well because it gives us a lot of different options to write about. I was able to finish up my revisions to my story and it had a lot of revisions but the end product turned out pretty good in my opinion. I like the various styles we are able to write in because I was able to find my favorite through trial and error. My other classes are going pretty well. I had two tests and a final presentation this last week that I finished up and I have never felt more relieved to finally be done with them. There's only two weeks left of school and it is starting to get pretty stressful with graduation coming up and then I also need to take two summer ...

 Tech Tip: Canvas Dashboard The canvas dashboard looks pretty simple but the sidebar can be very helpful in organizing your home screen how you want. I typically like my view in card view because it is the easiest for me navigate all my classes. The to do list option is very helpful and helps me stay organized and on top of things without having to click on each individual class. I do like the canvas dashboard is setup and I think it is very easy to navigate and customize. 

 Wikipedia Trails Brahma I have done some stories that include Brahma in them and I wanted to know a little more about him. I did not know he is included in trinity of gods including him, Vishnu, and Shiva. Brahma is also known as "The Creator" which is very interesting. He is highly recognized in Hinduism. It was interesting to read and learn just how important Brahma is to Hinduism.  Shiva After learning about Brahma, I wanted to look up his opposite. Shiva is also in the trinity of gods and he is known as "The Destroyer". I learned Shiva is basically the ruler of the world and can do just about anything to it. People of Hinduism would definitely not want to be Shiva's bad side because he could make their life not fun.  Shaktism I learned that Shaktism is one of the Hindu denominations. It has a Shakti which is basically the supreme ruler who is a woman. It has very many sub traditions and includes a lot of different goddesses with different systems. Mahavidya...

 Growth Mindset: Explore the Cats Image Link I really liked this picture of the cat because dreams really don't work unless you do. You have to have the right mindset and the proper goals to achieve your dreams. You cannot just wake up and hope your dreams come true. You have to stand up and put the work in yourself.  Image Link I really liked this cat as well because everyone is different. The most dangerous people are people who know they are different and accept it. Because they have conquered the fear of being different, they are able to explore and do anything they set their mind to because they do not let others bring them down. They have a strong mind which is a very important thing to have if you want to be great.

 Microfiction: I have actually never written microfiction before but it is very interesting to see how people are able to condense a story so much into such a small amount of words. Writing you whole life story in just six words really caught my eye. That seems very difficult because everyone's lives are so full of stories so attempting to minimize your whole life into just six words seems impossible. Also, the 25 word stories also seem very difficult to condense an entire story into just 25 words. I would definitely hope to make some of these stories and try and explain my life story in just six words because that seems like a very fun challenge to take on. Microfiction
